Reefs II, Carolina Beach NC is a second row condo unit consisting of 2 and 3 bedroom condos. Square footage ranges from 900 - 1120. Construction was complete in 1984. These units have a pool. Prices average around $170,000. It is two blocks(.3 miles) to the pier. There is a restaurant and bar there. Freeman Park where 4 wheel drive vehicles are allowed on the beach for a fee. Also, it is 15 blocks(1.5 miles) to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, restaurants, nightlife and carnival.

"Pleasure Island" is the name given to Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher. When the Intracoastal Waterway was complete it became an island. "Snow's Cut" is the stretch between the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Fear River. Carolina Beach is on the northern side and Fort Fisher on the southern side. Kure Beach is in the middle. Fort Fisher has a four wheel drive beach like Freeman Park on Carolina Beach. From the entrances of both parks the distance of the island is 7 miles.

There was a construction boom on Carolina Beach in the mid 80's and Reefs II is part of that boom. Old houses came down and new condos went up. Kure Beach has had a recent building boom but there are no condos. Old homes were replaced with new homes. There will never be development on Fort Fisher.
