Pleasure Cay, Carolina Beach NC is a neighborhood on the north end of Carolina Beach, NC. In the early 1980's construction began on homes and continued through 2007. Prices vary greatly between $145,000 and $750,000. Houses on the upper end of the price scale are newer construction, are on the water and have sound views. These come with boat slips. The majority of the neighborhood averages at $250,000. Houses range from 3-5 bedrooms and 2-4 baths with a square footage of 1100 to 3400. The lot sizes are 1/4 to 1/3 of an acre.

Pleasure Cay, Carolina Beach NC is a quiet neighborhood with no through traffic. To get to the neighborhood you use an access road that runs parallel to Snow's Cut Bridge. You are in close proximity to a grocery store and a pharmacy. All you have to do is travel .13 miles on the access road, go through a stop light and you are there. Being this far north on the island you avoid summer traffic. All the attractions of the island such as restaurants, bars, nightlife and the Carolina Beach boardwalk are 1.45 miles away.

You are also very close(.25 miles) to the nicest public boat ramp in New Hanover County. It is right on the Intracoastal Waterway so you don't have to travel through a no wake zone to get where you want to go. Also, Carolina Beach State Park is right around the corner and there you can find camping facilities, plenty of walking trails, and a marina where you can rent a boat slip.
