Carolina Surf, Carolina Beach NC is a four story condominium complex built in 1986.  While other condo units on Pleasure Island are made of wood, this condominium structure is made of concrete providing some of the strongest storm proofing on the island.  Additionally amenities include an ocean side pool, private beach access, trash chute, motion activated sliding door and security entry elevator.  Also the condos are three bedroom 2 1/2 bath that are 1250 square feet.  Finally the cost is in the $250,000 to $350,000 range.

Carolina Surf, Carolina Beach NC is in a great location.  You are a short walk to restaurants, bars, lake, carnival, Carolina Beach Boardwalk(.1 mile), and the marina(.3 miles).  Restaurants and bars have live music in the evenings.  The lake(.15 miles away) offers a walking trail around the lake and a farmer's market with local vendors on Saturdays during the season.  There are also weekly free outdoor movies at the lake.  Carolina Beach, NC also offers a weekly fireworks display which you would have a front row seat for.  If you have a four wheel drive vehicle you can drive on the north end of the beach at Freeman Park(1.8 miles away).  People go there to fish, camp, and just to enjoy the beach.

Kure Beach(2.5 miles away) and Fort Fisher(4.3 miles away) are also a part of Pleasure Island and they are located a short drive to the south.  Kure Beach offers a fishing pier and more restaurants.  Fort Fisher has the North Carolina Aquarium and Fort Fisher, a Civil War encampment that protected the Cape Fear River.  You can also drive your car onto the ferry and go to Southport, NC.  Southport has quaint shopping and architecture, art festivals and plenty of restaurants.
